What Child is THIS? The return of the tacky nativities

This feature first appeared during Advent on ‘generation’ in 2006, and we have featured a few extraordinary nativities in past years (such as, manger scene made out of butter, cupcake creche, and the truly remarkable bacon, sausage and sauerkraut nativity).

For Advent 2011, we bring you weekly themed selections – with some re-posts from our first offering, and some new ones to boggle the mind. Visit the humour pages to see the updates, several times a week during Advent.

To kick us off, an Irish flavour, including the three wise…leprechauns?…bearing gifts of pot-of-gold, clover and what appears to be a Guiness.
